How Optical Sorting Works for Nuts

Product is fed evenly across vibratory channels and falls in a single layer past a high-resolution camera array. Within milliseconds the system compares each nut against an approved color, shape, and size template. Defective or foreign items are ejected by precisely timed air valves, while accepted nuts continue to the good-product outlet. This closed-loop process typically achieves over 99.8% sorting accuracy with very low carryover, protecting both yield and grade.
